I currently play in A Sullen Day and Unknown Subject. In the past I've been part of Aeon, Atakhama, Crippler, Funeris Nocturnum, Serocs, Sotajumala and Where Victims Lie. I've also done session work for Abyssal, Kataplexia, Vile and Wintersun.

History

I started playing drums at school in the fall of 1994 and got my first kit in the spring of 1995. Music and drumming have been the biggest things in my life ever since.

I'm mainly self-taught, but did take some lessons in the beginning and have done few sessions with Kai Hahto later on. I'm left-handed, but lead with my right side and have played open-handed since 2002 - it simply makes the most sense to me.

Gear

I currently use Sakae Almighty, Yamaha Recording Custom and Sonor Vintage drums, Paiste 2002/Signature/602/Rude cymbals, Yamaha hardware, Vater sticks, Remo heads and Pearl Eliminator Redline pedals.

For home recording and practicing I have an RME interface, Audient preamps and various Shure, Sennheiser, AKG, Beyerdynamic, Audix and T.bone microphones. Live I use Roland triggers and TM-2 module.
